Whole house with three floors and a unique mountain panorama

The Thuringian country house Gehlberg am Schneekopf with comfortable holiday apartments and a unique mountain panorama is on the Thüringer Wald nature park route not far from the Rennsteig and Goethewanderweg hiking trails and the holiday towns Oberhof and Ilmenau.

The outdoor area includes a garden sitting area and terrace furniture. You can share use of a garden with a grill area (fenced). There is a parking space by the house on site.

The 110m2 house can accommodate up to eight people and has a romantic interior. There are two living rooms with cable TV and a stereo system. It also has a bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen with a stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and fridge. The bathroom has a separate shower, a WC and a large washbasin. There is central heating. There are a total of four bedrooms, each with a double bed.

Nearby you can find a grocery shop 300 metres away, a restaurant and a bus stop 400 metres away, an outdoor pool (700m), an indoor pool (10km) and a cross-country skiing trail 75km away.

With the Kurkarte, you can benefit from free bus rides in the Rennsteig region. The house has a separate entrance.

    “- Ausstattung sehr mangelhaft
    - Kabel und Rohre liegen frei
    - Türen schließen nicht
    - Besteck reicht noch nicht mal für 8 Personen
    - gibt in den Zimmern keine Kleiderschränke
    - die gestellten Handtücher würde ich nicht benutzen
    - Heizung und warmes Wasser oft ausgefallen
    - nicht sehr sauber

    Wer ein ruhiges Plätzchen zum Ausspannen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, wenn man kleine Sorgen hat. Wer eine Luxuswohnung für den günstigen Preis erwartet, ist hier falsch. Etwas nostalgisch, aber sehr gemütlich, ist die Wohnung, die sich über zwei Etagen erstreckt, eingerichtet. Für 3 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder war ausreichend Platz. Parkmöglichkeiten sind auf dem Grundstück vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist für Wanderurlauber sehr gut geeignet, da mehrere Wanderwege fast vor der Haustür beginnen. Bis nach Oberhof ist es nur ein Katzensprung mit dem Auto.”

    “Die Gastfreundlichkeit hat uns (6 Personen) sehr gut gefallen. Die Schlafzimmer haben angenehme Betten. Die Aussicht über das hübsches kleine Dorf und die Wälder ist wunderbar. Die große Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Hinten im Garten konnten wir angenehm sitzen, träumen und natürlich Grillen. Man kam sich vor, als wäre man zu Hause bei seiner Familie. Da ist auch die Möglichkeit Brotpakete zu erhalten. Das große Haus liegt fast direkt an den Wanderwegen. Danke für den Schönen Urlaub!”
