Comfortable three-room apartment in Kühlungsborn West
The spacious and sunny holiday apartment for 2-4 people is in a little house with just four apartments (of which three are rented out permanently), about 800 metres from the west centre, the promenade and the beach.
There is also a balcony facing south-west. You can park your car conveniently on the private parking space right in front of the house.
The apartment totalling 70m² provides a living room (around 24m²) with a cosy dining space and kitchen unit, a bedroom (around 16m²) with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a hallway, an additional bedroom/children’s realm in the cosy attic with two single beds.
All the necessary shopping facilities (Neukauf market, bakery, drinks market) are nearby. You can enjoy an individual stay here, somewhat set apart from the tourist hustle and bustle, whilst still being close to the centre. The Ostseeallee, as a strolling boulevard, connects the two areas Kühlungsborn West and Ost and leads from Baltic Platz to the 240-metre-long pier and the yacht harbour, which has developed into a vibrant new hub with many little bars and cafes. A row of one old villa next to the other runs like a string of pearls between the beach and the municipal forest along Ostseeallee. The magnificent Jugendstil facades have been carefully restored to their former glory and new buildings have been successfully integrated into the townscape, without any high-rises towering above the villas. The three-kilometre-long beach promenade, the longest in Germany, leads past dunes, thatched cafes and playgrounds and invites you to go on extensive walks, as well as the 133-hectare municipal forest right behind the beach or the beautiful original nature of the “Kühlung”, an inland conservation area. Other trip destinations include e.g. Heiligendamm, the “white town by the sea” (Germany’s oldest seaside resort, founded in 1793 and ‘reopened’ in 2003), Bad Doberan with the famous minster, or the seaside town Warnemünde about 30km away – it is recommended to go for a stroll there along the “Alter Strom” with many little shops, restaurants and bars, as well as leisure boats.
