Two holiday apartments in an idyllic location on a slope at the heart of the Fränkische Schweiz
The two quietly situated apartments are outside of the locality on a green slope.
The fully-heated, non-smoking apartments have different sizes, amenities and locations within the building. Each of the two apartments has a combined living and dining room with a kitchen unit, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower or bath and a hallway with cloakroom space. The kitchens are equipped with a stove, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. Each apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed 180cm wide. A satellite TV and a radio are provided. All the windows are fitted with blinds.
You can access either a balcony with garden furniture and an awning, or a terrace with seating and a parasol. A shared grill area is available. Each apartment has a private car parking space.
Wi-Fi access is available for a small fee. It is also possible to book a bread rolls delivery service for a fee, or transfers from/to the Forchheim train station or Nürnberg airport. The fee is higher for collection from a train station further away. The fridge can be stocked for you on arrival in request, with only the value of the goods payable.
The nearest bakery with a selection of groceries is about 2.5km away. The nearest butcher is about 5km away and the nearest supermarket in Kirchehrenbach about 7km away. You can find a wide range of well-priced gastronomy to suit all tastes in the surrounding villages. There are many interesting trip destinations and leisure activities. You can visit the basilica in Gößweinstein, the panoramic cliffs in Wichsenstein, one of the many limestone caves or the game park in Hundshaupten. Owing to the high density of breweries in Franken, there are loads of romantic beer gardens and beer walking routes, which are waymarked and lead from brewery to brewery. The nearest private brewery with an adjoining restaurant is in Unterzaunsbach about 3km away. There are almost just as many cafes in an idyllic location, such as by the romantic Trubach stream in Egloffstein. In Pottenstein, a summer luge awaits you, as well as several boat hires in the area. The region is especially well-known for its castles and ruins, which are worth a visit.

The holiday apartment of around 80m² on the ground floor provides ample space for up to six people. The open living and dining room includes a fully-equipped kitchen unit with an oven. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed 180cm wide and a sofa bed (140 x 190cm) for two people. The bathroom of the fully-heated apartment has a shower, washbasin, toilet and hairdryer.
There is a terrace outside for your own exclusive use, with garden furniture and a parasol. Please note that the site is not fully enclosed. It is recommended to keep dogs on the leash.
Pets are allowed at this apartment on request and for a small fee.
