Cosy holiday house with a garden and a view of the Schlei

This detached single-family house is in the little village Grödersby above Arnis and the Schlei. It is an ideal starting point for short and long walks and cycle tours by the Schlei and the Baltic Sea beach. The wooden house is ideal for a relaxing holiday, as it combines peacefulness and comfort, a distant view and landscapes, nature and leisure, cosiness and openness, water and clear air, meadows and fields.

This holiday house newly built in 2016 provides an ample 92m2 of living space for a maximum of eight people. It has been awarded by the German Tourism Association (DTV) with good *** stars. The owners focused primarily on cosiness and naturalness during the furnishing and decoration, and less on trendiness. The great bamboo flooring is best experienced barefoot and the bathrooms with natural stone ties are fitted with rain showers. The living and dining room with a kitchen is generous and natural materials dominate in the bedrooms with the choice of furnishing. A fireplace stove rounds off the atmosphere of well-being. The living and dining room has a sofa, a coffee table, satellite TV with a DVD player, a stereo system with a USB port, a fireplace and a dining table with chairs. Some firewood is provided for the first cosy fireplace evening, while additional stocks can be bought from the owners at purchase price. The adjoining open kitchen is equipped with an oven, an induction hob, a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. A first set of dishwasher tabs, salt, sugar etc. is provided. One of the four bedrooms has a double bed (180cm wide), the second has two single beds (90cm wide), the third has a French bed (140cm wide). The bathrooms have a shower, a WC, a washbasin and a hairdryer. Stairs lead to the spacious and open additional sleeping area, which is not separated off from the ground floor by a door or wall, so it is not a closed room. It has two single beds (90cm wide). (Underfloor) heating and free wireless Internet access are available throughout the house. The owner can provide a highchair and board games for children. A washing machine is available and an additional little transportable TV with a DVD function can be used in the bedrooms. The house is non-smoking.

The ca. 500m² site has an outdoor area with a garden and a furnished terrace. The large south-facing terrace with a view over fields and towards the Schlei, as well as a canopy beach chair (spring to autumn) provide the best conditions for relaxation and leisure. There is a charcoal grill for grill evenings together, enjoying the view. Bicycles can be locked away. There are two private outdoor parking spaces for use free of charge. A maximum of one pet is allowed. Those who arrive by electric car can charge it here conveniently.

The price includes a set of bedlinen, a hand towel and shower towel per guest, as well as two tea towels. The owner is happy to assist with any queries. The bakery in Arnis offers rolls from Monday to Saturday (in summer also on Sundays).

The Lindhus is on the edge of a nature reserve. The Schlei below is a fjord that stretches from Schleimünde to Schleswig. It is especially popular among sailors. You can set off on beautiful and extensive walks and circuits or cycle tours from the doorstep or simply sit on the terrace or in the canopy beach chair and watch the clouds. It is beautiful, relaxing and cosy here in any season. The nearest centre with a grocery shop is 4km away.

    “Tolles Haus, top-gepflegt, wunderschöne Lage. Man hat vom Haus aus einen unverstellten Blick auf die etwa 700/800 Meter entfernte Schlei, das hat uns sehr beeindruckt! Man kann direkt vom Haus aus an die Schlei spazieren. Das Haus ist gut und vergleichsweise hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Vermieter beschreibt ein anderer Gast als "freundlich und unkompliziert" - dem können wir nur zustimmen. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Kleine Minuspunkte: Das Gefrierfach wurde entfernt ("aus bekannten Gründen"). Das mögen gute Gründe sein, aber wir hätten das gern vorher gewusst, denn wir hatten ziemlich kostspieliges Speiseeis dabei. In der Ausstattungsbeschreibung ist es nach wie vor aufgeführt. Die Kaffeemaschine brauchte bei unserem Besuch extrem lange zum Kaffeekochen (>1h). Die Benutzung sollte man ("aus bekannten Gründen") aktuell besser vermeiden. Alternativ kann man den Kaffee von Hand aufgießen. Filterhalter ist vorhanden. Vielen Dank für die tolle Urlaubszeit!”

    “Da wir gegenüber wohnen, kann alles und einfach kommuniziert werden. Ein Platz für Eis wäre ebenso wie eine entkalkte Kaffeemaschine kein Problem gewesen. Zudem stehen drei weitere Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung.”

    “Das Haus liegt am Rande einer kleinen Ortschaft mit Blick auf die Schlei. Natur pur. Eine gute schöne Ausstattung, guter Zustand und sehr sauber. Daher stimmt hier auf jeden Fall das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
    Wir haben im Sommer 2017 mit zwei Erwachsenen und fünf Kindern einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Grödersby verbracht.
    Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich.
