Holiday apartments in a real castle, in a little medieval village in the mountains above the lake


The holiday apartments are in a castle, in Zorzino, a medieval village that belongs to Riva di Solto. The romantic little village is in the mountains above Lake Iseo.

The castle welcomes its guests to the Siena, Cielo, Pisa, Terra, Adele and Sole apartments, with modern furnishing. Here your holiday becomes a fascinating journey back into the past, into a fairytale atmosphere, in a fabulous village high above the lake, enjoying almost unreal tranquillity. The apartments have wireless Internet access.

The ancient building has a romantic interior courtyard of around 250m², with an archway in front of the building and a little garden with a lawn. It affords a lovely view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Many tables and chairs have been set up, which can be used by guests at all apartments. There is also a grill for sociable evenings. You can feel the charm of the past here, experience a romantic sunset or spend a night under the stars. It is about 200 metres to a public car park.

The owners of the castle live on site and are happy to assist with any queries. Two bicycles are available for use free of charge.

The centre is about 200 metres away, with grocery shops and various restaurants- The lake with its beaches is about 1500 metres away, with boat hire and water sports. If you like winter sports, then you can find ski facilities 30km away.

Studio Apartment with lake view balcony and garden access

The studio apartment is located on the ground floor, it can accommodate up to three people.



The vaulted ceiling and solid wood furniture give it a cozy medieval atmosphere. The large kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, oven and fridge with freezer. The apartment has a dining table, a sofa bed for one person and satellite smart-TV, a double bed (160 x 190 cm) and a wardrobe. The bathroom is external and adjacent to the living room and bedroom and has its own external entrance. It has a shower and washing machine. The studio apartment is equipped with an independent heating system.



It is accessed from the internal courtyard and shared garden where chairs, tables and deckchairs are available as well as a barbecue.

The strong point of the studio apartment is the balcony overlooking the lake.

To access the private bathroom it is necessary to exit through the door to the garden and re-enter the bathroom because it was not possible to create an internal passage.



Zorzino is a small quiet town, towards the church there is a playground, going up a few meters towards the mountain you find yourself walking along the paths in the woods. 1 km away, reachable on foot from the road or from the steep path in the woods, there is Riva di Solto, a small charming village with fantastic walks along the lake shore. This area is not particularly served by public transport, for short trips within the town it is advisable to move on foot while it is always advisable to have a car.

    “Die Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen, gerne wieder!! Positiv: Das ganze Ambiente der "kleinen Burg" ist sehr gepflegt. Man sieht, dass es mit Liebe und Herzlichkeit eingerichtet wurde, genauso wie auch die Gastgeberin uns begrüßt hat: mit ganz viel Herzlichkeit.
    Der Blick von dem kleinen Balkon ist sensationell und auch der kleine Bereich am Eingang muss erwähnt werden. Dort befand sich gleich ein Bücherregal und außerdem Gemüse aus dem Garten und Eier, man konnte sich dort gegen eine kleine Spende bedienen. Alles sah sehr einladend aus.”

    “Sehr süße, saubere Wohnung mit schöner Aussicht und ruhiger Lage mit allem, was man so benötigt. Sehr nette Vermieter mit denen man sich in englisch verständigen kann. Da es einen gemeinsamen Außenbereich gibt (der sehr schön angelegt und gepflegt ist), ist man froh, wenn man nette Nachbarn hat. Das war aber zumindest bei uns kein Problem bzw. führt auch zu netten Bekanntschaften. Direkt hinter dem Haus geht es zu Trails im Wald, die zum Wandern oder Biken einladen. Um an einen kleinen, von der Straße abgeschotteten Strand zu kommen, führt ein kleiner und steiler Wanderpfad direkt dort hin.”
