Apartment in a four-sided courtyard, just a kilometre from the lake
This detached and newly renovated farmhouse (a four-sided courtyard) from around 1840 is very close to the grass beach, quietly situated on a side street with little traffic in the village Hardenbeck, amidst the Uckermärkische Seenplatte.
The ground floor of around 150m² consists of a living room with a smart TV, a DVD player, a sofa with an armchair, a table and shelving, a bedroom next to it with a designer bed (180 x 200cm), a bedside table, a sofa and shelving. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and radio. There is an adjoining bathroom with a window and a shower. The apartment also features a conservatory/dining room with a view of the front garden with a table and four chairs, and an entrance area with seating and space for hanging coats etc. The living room, bedroom and kitchen have wooden floorboards. The kitchen and bedroom have exposed beams. The other part of the house remains closed off. On the first floor there is also a large fireplace room with two sofas, two sitting corners and a double bed, which can also be booked. There is an Internet connection. Satellite TV is also available. A child’s bed, highchairs and a supplementary bed can be provided. A washing machine is available, too. New is now a second large bathroom with tub and underfloor heating, a second kitchen and a large dining room with a large antique oak table overlooking the garden.
In the outdoor area, next to the conservatory facing the front garden, there is a wooden roofed veranda with a table and four chairs. The lawn behind the property there is a table with four chairs, four loungers, a parasol and a Weber grill. Wood can be purchased locally.
There are parking spaces in the courtyard, including a garage for a car. The site is fenced and therefore also suitable for children and dogs. The site is free of pesticides and other chemicals and is recognised by the EU as an “emerging organic farm”. There are sheep on a fenced meadow and a fruit orchard, although these are accessed at our own risk. Children may only enter under the supervision of parents.
There are shopping facilities four kilometres away in Boitzenburg, known for its famous fairytale castle, monastery ruins and excellent hiking trails. There are four restaurants, a beer garden and an ice cream stall. In Feld berg about 15km away or in Lychen there are several grocery shops, restaurants and boat hire services. The lake is about a kilometre away, with a rowing boat by the private jetty. It is also possible to go fishing at the village pond 20 metres away without a permit, but with a day pass. The lake Krewitzersee is 2.5km away.
Plan a culinary weekend with delicious game e.g. venison and wild boar. The owners can provide contact details for a hunter who can deliver the freshly hunted game to the house. Suitable mushrooms can be found in the surrounding deciduous and mixed forests. Not forgetting apples and pears grown on site with best organic quality!
