Holiday Apartment in Volksdorf with Terrace, Barbecue and Garden

This holiday apartment is in a quiet little village, between farms with all their sounds and smells, with a view over meadows and fields, near the Mittellandkanal, Schaumburger Wald and Steinhuder Meer. It is about 50km to Hannover, 20km to Minden and the Steinhuder Meer, 5km to Stadthagen and 8km to Bückeburg.



It is a 55m² maisonette apartment with an additional 22m² roof terrace. You can sleep in a double bed (180 x 200cm) on a cosy gallery or on the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. The built-in kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a stove and oven, a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and other appliances, a table with two chairs, tableware, all accessories and cleaning products. The bathroom has a bath and rainshower, a makeup mirror and a hairdryer. All the rooms have heating. You can use a washing machine in the cellar of the house.



It has a private fenced garden with a garden shed, garden furniture and two free bicycles for hire. There is a car parking space in the courtyard.



Golf, Nordic walking, geocaching and bicycle tours are just a few examples of the many activities available in the Schaumburger Land. Or you can enjoy sights such as the Bückeburger Castle, Loccum Monastery, the birth house of Wilhelm Busch, the Münchehagen dinosaur park etc. Or you can relax and enjoy wellness at the Tropicana Stadthagen and the thermal baths in Bad Nenndorf, Bad Eilsen, Bad Pyrmont, Bad Oeynhausen.

    “Positiv: Idyllische Lage, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen auf der wunderschönen Dachterrasse - einfach herrlich!
    Man kann super schnell, das nächste Dorf, den Mittellandkanal oder aber auch die nächstgrößere Stadt erreichen. Freizeit: Stadt Bückeburg mit Schloss etc.

    “Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und im Haus war auch alles wie beschrieben vorhanden.
    Ich habe 1 Stern abgezogen aufgrund von folgenden Kleinigkeiten.

    Die Duschköpfe müssten dringend entkalkt werden, die sind so zu, dass einiges an Wasser schon an der Verschraubung austritt.
    Im Fenster im "Schlafzimmer" fehlt leider eine Verdunklung, wenn man ein Mittagsschlaf halten möchte ist es da echt zu hell.
    Und zu guter letzt, für uns war das kein Problem, aber die Treppe zum Bett ist sehr steil und daher Bauart bedingt auf einer Seite jeweils im wechsel links/rechts ausgeschnitten. Für ältere Personen dürfte es da recht schwer bzw unsicher sein hoch und runter zu klettern.

    Das ist wohl gemerkt meckern auf hohem Niveau, wir würden gern wieder kommen.”

    “Die Ferienwohnung entsprach in allen Punkten den im Exposee aufgeführten Kriterien. Mit viel Liebe ausgebaute Dacheinliegerwohnung in wirklich ländlicher Idylle, allerdings fehlten die versprochenen ländlichen Geräusche und Düfte. Es war alles an Ausstattung vorhanden, was der Normalurlauber in einer Ferienwohnung erwartet. Wir haben uns eine Woche lang sehr wohl gefühlt.”
