Holiday house in a quiet location in the mountains at an altitude of 1000 metres, with a mountain view
The holiday house is in a little hamlet at 1000 metres above sea level, in a quiet location and with a great view of the mountains.
The terraced house of around 100m² has several levels, each accessed via small stairways, and is suitable for six people. The ground floor has a summer kitchen. Stairs lead to the three bedrooms, which are on different levels. All the bedrooms have a double bed 140cm wide. One of the bedrooms is on the same level as the shower room and the separate WC. The upper floor has a kitchen and a dining room with a TV. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, mini oven, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The individual floors are open, while the bedrooms, bathroom and WC have a door. The house has gas central heating.
Garden furniture and play equipment for children are available outside. There is a big lawn in front of the house that guests can park on. There is an outdoor kitchen on the ground floor.
The house is an ideal place for nature and hiking enthusiasts who would like to spend relaxing days in the midst of a wonderful natural setting. The sea is only about 50km away. Several hiking trails lead past the house. You can go fishing in the river 3km away, or in the lake 20km away. You can hire pedalos in St. André les Alpes at the Sainte-Croix lake, or go canoeing at the start of the big Verdon gorge. Barème castle is very nearby. As a lovely day trip, you can take the train ‘Train des Pignes’ from Nice to Digne-les-Bains in the Alps. The nearest grocery shop is about 2km away, where you can also find a butcher, bakery, restaurant and hotel.
