Traditional Istrian natural stone house, recently extensively renovated (2009), with a big terrace and a grill area in the enclosed, green garden

This romantic holiday house made of natural stone is in a quiet residential district in Kaldanija on the north-west coast of the sunny Istrian peninsula, an ideal place for a relaxing holiday far away from tourist noise.

The two-storey, natural stone house from the year 1920 was carefully renovated just recently in 2009, paying great attention to preserving the authentic architectural features. It provides all the necessary modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The living space of 90m² comprises a light living room, a separate kitchen with a dining space, two bedrooms and two spacious daylight bathrooms. The ground floor comprises the air-conditioned (cool/warm) living room with a comfortable corner sofa suite, satellite TV, a DVD and CD player, a radio and a safe for your valuables. The rustic wrought-iron fireplace stove exudes a cosy atmosphere and pleasant warmth on cooler evenings. Next to it there is the modern built-in kitchen in a rustic country style, with a dishwasher, a four-zone gas hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, coffee machine and washing machine, as well as a table with chairs for leisurely holiday breakfasts. The ground-floor bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, a wide washbasin with a wall mirror, a hairdryer and a toilet. Wide stone stairs lead to the upper floor with the bedrooms and the second bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed measuring160 x 200cm, the other has a double bed measuring 140 x 200cm. The bathroom is equipped the same as the one on the ground floor. Plenty of bed linen and towels are provided (weekly change is included in the rental price). The reliable wireless Internet connection is free of charge, please bring your own hardware.

The living room opens onto the 20m² private terrace with a big dining table made of wood and matching benches, sun loungers and parasols. The enclosed garden has a grill inviting you to enjoy leisurely meals outdoors. If you arrive by car you can use the secure parking space right in front of the house. Your pet is welcome for a small supplementary charge.

Please note that only small dogs are allowed.

Your holiday house is about 5km from the sea and the nearest beach with water sports. The nearest cafés, restaurants and shops are just 200 metres away. The harbour town of Umag about 11km away with its historical sights, the beautiful old town, colourful markets and wide range of gastronomy is definitely worth a day trip.

20% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 61st day prior to arrival
50% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 35th day prior to arrival
80% of the rental price if cancellation is made up to the 2nd day prior to arrival
95% of the rental price if cancellation is made on the day of arrival
The cancellation costs amount to at least EUR 40.

    “Charmantes ,liebevoll restauriertes Haus . Die Betten sind bequem und die Ausstattung ,einschl. Handtüchern ist reichhaltig.
    Die Sauberkeit in der Küche ( nur dort ) war nicht ganz optimal.
    Wünschenwert wäre es ,wenn die Übergabe auf englisch erfolgen könnte.”

    “Wir haben uns für den Zeitraum vom 05.08.2017 bis 12.08.2017 für dieses Haus entschieden und haben unsere Entscheidung nicht bereut. Das Haus wurde sehr liebevoll und aufwendig renoviert. Die Bilder die hier veröffentlicht sind entsprechen exakt der Wirklichkeit. Und aufgrund dessen, dass ich kein Foto-Profi bin, stelle ich auch keine eigenen ein, denn dass würde nur verfälschen.
    Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigt. Selbst eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden, die allerdings (und das schaffte nicht einmal unsere im Auto) bei 40 Grad Außentemperatur kaum "hinterher" kam.
    Beim Einzug war alles tipp top sauber und es befanden sich reichlich frische Handtücher in den zwei Badezimmern.
    Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht und natürlich war alles sehr gepflegt.
    Die Schlafzimmer waren vom feinsten, aber falls jemand sein Haupt weich betten möchte, der sollte sich sein eigenes Kopfkissen mitbringen ;-).
    Dem Deutschen liebstes Kind kann man auch auf dem Grundstück abstellen und absichern. Allerdings ist das mein einziger Punkt, der uns täglich etwas "Herzflattern" bescherte. Denn das Haus liegt direkt hinter einer absolut nicht einsehbaren Kurve, sodass es jedes mal ein "russisches Roulette" war, dort aus- oder einzuparken. Das muss man aber einfach mal in Kauf nehmen!”
