    “Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im ca. 10km entfernten Brioude reichlich (Carrefour, Netto, Lidl, Mc Donalds, etc.). Brötchen und die nötigsten Dinge des täglichen Lebens können im ca. 2 km entfernten Vergongheon erworben werden. Die Bäckereiverkäuferinnen sind sehr freundlich und gesprächig, allerdings sollte man minimale Franzöisch-Kenntnisse zum Bestellen und Austauschen der mindesten Höflichkeiten haben. Das Preisniveau ist nicht zu beanstanden, keine Paris-Preise, sondern ähnlich wie in der Eifel: Dorfniveau, was ich als sehr angenehm wahrnahm. Im ca. 10km entfernten Champagnac Vielle befindet sich ein großer natürlicher Badesee mit hohem Fischbestand mit angeschlossenem Campingplatz mit vielen Besuchern aus den Niederlanden.”
