    “Nach Buje sind es ca. 5 Kilometer. Dort gibt es kleinere Einkaufsmärkte, Bäcker, Wein und Trüffelläden. Das Olivenöl von dort ist eines der Besten in Kroatien. Einkaufen empfehlen wir aber in den Küstenstädten. Dort gibt es Kaufland, Lidl und auch DM-Märkte. In Slowenien gibt es auch Aldi. Buje liegt auf einer Hochebene und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf Landschaft und Meer. Von Buje führen die Straßen in alle Himmelsrichtungen. Empfohlene Orte für Besichtigungen sind im Landesinneren: Motovun, Oprtalj, Buzet. An der Küste: Pula, Rovinj, Porec; Novigrad.
    Besonders empfehlenswerte Restaurants: Restaurant Santa Marina in Vabriga und Restaurant Marconi in Porec (direkt an der Basilika). Wir waren dort mehrmals, weil nicht nur der Service und die Location uns fasziniert haben, auch die Preise waren angemessen.”
